Under New Management

Since September 2025, The Hope Inn has been proudly run by Chris, Lauren and family. With a fresh approach and a genuine love for this coastal pub, the focus is on warm hospitality, great food made with seasonal local produce, and bringing a lively atmosphere back to the heart of Newhaven.

At The Hope Inn, our menus celebrate seasonal, locally sourced produce, with a particular focus on fresh seafood dishes inspired by our coastal setting. From comforting pub classics to beautifully cooked seafood and daily specials, our food is designed to be enjoyed at your own pace.
